A Transitional Residence Program for Women

Dreams Do Come True

The Miracle of Wellsprings Village

Eight houses have been built on three acres of land purchased by Wellsprings; two modular houses were constructed on the property in 2005. In 2006, six additional homes were built with funding provided by The Gulf Coast Rebuilding Fund.

Currently, six homes are being used for transitional housing and can serve 40-44 women at any given time. One home is being used for office space and the remaining home is used for meetings and classes; it also houses a computer lab and clothes closet.

In 2018, the initial planning stages for a one story office building began with a brainstorming session to establish space needs. When completed, this project will ultimately allow the program to serve an additional 16 women. Stay tuned for updates on this exciting development!
